IDOG History

The International Doodle Owners Group, Inc. was incorporated in the State of Indiana and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization on August 6th, 2006.

IDOG’s mission was to offer education and advice to help people make informed decisions about doodle ownership, training and health, as well as establishing the first (and at the time) only rescue dedicated to labradoodles and goldendoodles.

This unique blend of expert knowledge, behavioral advice and support, coupled with a strong rescue volunteer organization and an ethical code of conduct has earned IDOG a stellar reputation and many supporters and friends.

IDOG simply could not exist without our fantastic volunteers and supporters. The real story of IDOG is about the volunteers, and how so much can be achieved when people come together with good intentions and a common cause.
